Thaw and Season to your liking. No cooking oils are required unless you prefer them for flavor. Preheat your oven to between 450 to 500 degrees. Quickly sear all sides on a flat top or in a pan to caramelize and seal in the flavor. Bake in the oven until the internal temperature reaches between 125 to 130 degrees. It’s ok to use a meat thermometer. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for approximately half of the cooking time. This will bring your roast to medium rare. Be sure to save any pan drippings and use them to flavor your favorite vegetables or potatoes.
